The Whitest Boy Alive is a musical group based in Berlin. The band comprises singer/guitarist Erlend Øye, who is also a member of the band Kings of Convenience, bassist Marcin Öz, drummer Sebastian Maschat, and Daniel Nentwig on Rhodes piano and Crumar. They started as an electronic dance music project in 2003, but have since slowly developed into a band with no programmed elements.

Erlend Øye is from Norway, while the rest of the band is German. The band has recently completed their second album, due to be released in early March, in a newly built studio located on Punta Burros, Nayarit, Mexico.

The Whitest Boy Alive adalah band dari Jerman yang tipe musiknya electronic dance gitu, tapi enak banget bo, jarang gw liat band electric kyk mereka. CD mereka di Indonesia dirilis sama Aksara Records, dan udah pernah dateng ke Indonesia November 2009 kemaren, diundang sama aksara juga, hehehe. Sejauh ini udah ngeluarin 2 album, Dreams, dan yang baru dirilis bulan maret ini adalah Rules.
